Define the service path that supports the operation
Map the connectivity, network equipment, virtual infrastructure and supported endpoints that your team operates. Identify separately the voice, workforce and customer platforms owned by other providers. OpsAI infrastructure observations can help investigate a degraded service path. They do not measure agent productivity, conversation quality or completed customer interactions unless a separately reviewed integration provides that evidence.
Review access before connecting a source
Place Site Edge on an authorized host that can reach the selected private systems. Use supported read-only access and select the resources to monitor after discovery. Keep customer workspaces and operator permissions explicit. Where the same IT team supports several clients, an operational role for one workspace should not be treated as permission to inspect another client’s data.
Give the next shift the same incident context
Use a wallboard for the agreed operational scope and retain the incident’s time range when moving to an asset or report. Include the collector’s freshness so that a quiet dashboard is not mistaken for proof that all systems are healthy. Record which internal team or supplier owns the next action. A shift handover should distinguish observed facts, an investigation hypothesis and an unresolved dependency.
Qualify the monitoring and response scope separately
During evaluation, confirm the selected sources, review an agreed interruption and recovery, and check a report across a shift boundary using the intended timezone. Document any systems without a supported collection path. Discuss human response hours, escalation obligations and service targets with AOT separately; a continuously running collector does not by itself establish a staffed 24-hour response agreement.
